Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) is defined as the right to obtain legal protection over intellectual property following laws and regulations in the field of IPR, such as the Law on Copyright, Patents, Industrial Designs, Trade Secrets, Plant Varieties, Integrated Circuit Layout Designs, and Trademarks. Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright stipulates that Copyright as an intangible movable object can be used as an object of fiduciary security. Provisions regarding Copyright as an object of Fiduciary security will be carried out based on the provisions of applicable laws and regulations. The law governing fiduciary is contained in number 42 of 1992 concerning fiduciary guarantees and their implementing regulations.
